Key findings
The report recognises developments made since the last reporting period in 2018, particularly with regards to efforts to include and integrate migrants and refugees through dedicated programmes, events and strategies. It notes that press and media continue portraying migrants in a stereotypical way and that hate speech and violence towards them continues to occur. The report also underlines how persons with migration background express a lack of trust in the police due to allegations of serious abuses committed by police officers.
